Week 33: It´s Growing Time!

Hi family!

This week was a long one, and a good one. I learned A LOT this week. I will try to share some of the experiences that I had this week.
First, with  my companion. This week my companion and I were not having a lot of success in our teaching, and I realized that we didnt really have the spirit with us. I knew that we needed to talk it out. I asked her what she was thinking, and what I could do to help her and what I was doing that was making her mad. It was really hard to talk to her, but I know that it was worth it! After we talked some things out, we were able to have the spirit with us, and we had more success. Now we are better friends, and we are able to talk more openly!

This week we also had our last conference with President Harris. It was very sad, but also awesome! He related the story of the 2 thousand stripling warriors to our lives. One thing that he focused on is that the stripling warriors were protected because of their covenants. Every single one of the 2 thousand lived because they made a covenant with God, and kept up with their end. We also learned about Charity, and why Paul said that it is the most important attribute to have. When we have charity we are keeping the 2 biggest commandments to love God, and love our neighbor.

This week I also learned from the members in our ward! They are super nice and are always looking out for us. On sunday the member that was going to give us lunch was sick. We dropped something off at another members house, and they invited us for lunch! Their names are Juan Carlos and Anita Godoy. It is super fun because their son is at BYU Idaho, so we talked a little about that. They were super nice to invite us for lunch and share with us on such short notice. I am so glad for their love! it makes me realized what kind of a member I want to be when I get back from my mission.

I love you all so much! I will send some pictures and descriptions. Have a great week!
