Week 19: Why did the old lady cross the road?
Hi family!
Thank you so much for all of your letters this week. I feel super blessed and loved! I dont have a ton of time to read all of them, so I am going to print them out and read them this week
For the subject line. This sunday we were riding our bikes back from the church, and we passed an old lady that was walking really slow and heavily. We stopped and asked her if she needed help with anything. She said that she was waiting for a taxi, but needed to sit down for a little bit. I helped walk her over to a bench where she could wait. It was awesome because we always talk about doing service for old people, but a lot of times I feel like I never see old people to help. But I did this week!
This week we had interviews with our mission president. And I got your package!!!!! WHOO HOO!!! I waited to look at the valentines when I got back to the house because I felt a little weird looking at them in the chapel hahaha. But thank you!!! Werthers are my favorite candy that I never buy, and obviously fruit snacks are the best. You are all the best! I needed this pick me up, so thank you!
Interviews with President Harris were awesome! Every time that I talk with him, my testimony grows that he is really called of God! I am so grateful for our leaders who can receive revelation for us. He answered all of my questions that I didnt know I had, and gave me some really useful incite. At the end I asked for a priesthood blessing from him. It was amazing! I am so grateful for the priesthood. I didnt realize that I missed getting blessings, but I do! I am grateful for my dad and grandpas and brother in law for being righteous priesthood holders.
This week we had a family home evening with the Barahona Family and Douglas. It was super awesome! They have 3 daughters that remind me of our family! We talked about faith and baptism, and then played a game called Lawyer. We will have to play it together when I get back. Super fun. I am grateful for the people in the ward that open their homes for us and the people that we are teaching.
