Week 3: Big things, Small things, and Hard things
Okay, first I am going to explain all the pictures, and then I will add any extra comments that I dont have pictures of. The one by the fountain is from today. I think I am getting fat from all the bread and the fact that they serve us 4 servings of rice and pasta like it is one hahaha. Tell me if I am getting fat so I can be sad and eat my feelings in ice cream hahahah jkjk.
One of the pictures is me by a HUGE Chilean flag. We found it last P-day, and it was pretty cool.
One picture is my foot by my socks. Yes my socks, and not a baby´s socks. In the CCM, there is a lady that does all of the laundry, and for some reason one day, all of the socks got shrunk like super bad. Good thing I am used to wearing socks that are meant for third graders hahaha. One thing that has been hard at the CCM is that when we got there, we all had to take some stuff out of our suitcases, and then put our suitcases in a locked closet. I definitely didnt take out enough clothes, and I forgot some things like my little socks and a second exercise shirt. Also since we dont do our own laundry, everything gets washed and dried. I have a bunch of clothes that cant go in the dryer, so I havent really worn them. Mom, what materials are safe for the dryer even though the tag says no? That would be helpful.
I got a scripture case this week! It was a little expensive, but definitely worth it.
Okay, next. Yes dad, sorry I kept forgetting to tell you, but Elder Gong came to visit!! Super awesome! He took time to ask all the missionaries where they were from, and where they were going, and shook all of our hands. We also all took a picture together. It was awesome to meet an apostle!
This week I am going to write a letter for the family and take a picture of it because I still feel like I have so much to say!
I love you all sooooo much!!! I am sorry that I am bad at responding to emails to everyone. But know that I want to and that I love you!
Love,
Hermana Christensen
